Bratei, Saxon village it the central part of Transylvania, surrounding of Sighişoara city. Picturesque villages with bastioned churches built-up by German Saxons. They created there their specific culture and architectural style.

Most of Saxon families left their places forced by Romanian socialistic goverments in the last century and they returned to Germany.  Dictator Nicolae Ceauşescu moved gypsies from whole Romania in those empty villages. Living conditions are very humble there, dwellings dilapidates.  Domestic animals, especially horses (as well as sheep and pigs) have an extrem worth for the owner. Relationship between a hors and a man can be equal to human relations. And sometimes even above...
